YOUTH CAREER CONNECT 2020 (YCC 2020) is a focused mega digital event to address their viewpoint and help them understand the new normal. We are providing internship.

Interns are required in coordinating online registration, ensuring flow of panel discussion and keeping all updated about the progress of the event.

Interns with journalism background will have to take notes on the points being discussed at the sessions and then summarize each session for the YCC 2020 IMPACT REPORT, which will be released later.

Once the Interns are finalized, we will have a meeting with detailed discussion on the event. Each session of the day will be assigned to one team of Interns for coordination.

All Interns will receive an INTERNSHIP CERTIFICATE at the end.

It is widely acknowledged that Innovation and entrepreneurship are driving forces of economic growth and social development in today's modern society. No better time than now to stand up and prove our ideas are worthy of creating much needed social impact. YCC 2020 FUTURE STARS aims to combine innovation and entrepreneurship to support innovative ideas, development and business creation.

  • The YCC 2020 FUTURE STARS Startup Competition is open to any Startups from across India to register online.
  • On completion of the basic registration, a 1-Page Summary in the prescribed format is to be sent back by the registered Startups (the format will be sent by mail once the registration process is complete).
  • Any Startup, with presence in India, is eligible to apply online with a 1-page summary (ANNEXURE 1).
  • There will be THREE (3) LEVELS in YCC 2020 FUTURE STARS competition:
    • LEVEL 1 – Screening Stage
    • LEVEL 2 – ELEVATION PITCH
    • LEVEL 3 – PITCH TO INVESTORS FOR FUNDING
  • The participation for STARTUPS in LEVEL 1 is FREE
  • Applicant(s) must be present in INDIA – local presence with global perspective
  • The Applicant(s) must be legally registered in INDIA.
  • The Startup (represented by the Applicant(s)) must be less than 5 years old on July 15th, 2020.
  • Any startup throughout INDIA can apply for minimum one (1) or maximum three (3) categories.
  • Employees of the Organizer, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively “the Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of the Employees are not eligible to participate in the Contest.

  • The application period for the different categories starts on July 10th, 2020. The application deadline depends on the selected category(ies).

  • Entries received/submitted before the entry submission deadline only will be considered.All submissions received after the deadline will not be accepted.
  • ONLY entries complete in all respects and filled in English language will be considered.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to extend or shorten the application period at its sole discretion without previously informing the Applicant.
  • There is NO ENTRY FEE. However, if shortlisted during LEVEL 1, then the invited STARTUP is required to pay online a registration fee of INR. 2,500/- (Rupees Two Thousand and Five Hundred Only) + GST toparticipate in LEVEL 2– ELEVATOR PITCH
  • The Registration Fee is non-refundable.
  • There will be THREE (3) LEVELS in YCC 2020 FUTURE STARS competition:
    • LEVEL 1 – Screening Stage
    • LEVEL 2 – Elevation pitch
    • LEVEL 3 – Pitch to investors for funding
  • A jury will review the list of Applicants and the shortlisted Applicants are reviewed by the Investor Community during LEVEL 3 for possible investment commitment.
  • The predominant SIX (6) main parameters that will be used to evaluate at this stage include:
    • PRODUCT/SERVICE
    • PROCESS
    • REVENUE GENERATION PARAMETERS
    • INNOVATION & TECHNOLOGY
    • GROWTH SUSTAINABILITY and
    • SOCIAL IMPACT
LEVEL 1 – Screening Stage
  • The shortlisted participants from LEVEL 1 must submit their 10-SLIDE PRESENTATION as per the prescribed format (which will be sent by mail) and must complete their registration fee process in the stipulated time.
  • The applicants will be judged on the basis of their entries.
  • The short-listed companies of LEVEL 1 will then be allotted slots in LEVEL 2 to make the ELEVATOR PITCH.
  • In total, a maximum of 132 Applicants will be shortlisted for LEVEL 2 . as per their respective categories
LEVEL 2 – Elevation pitch
  • During the Elevator Pitch, the Participants will be granted SEVEN (7) MINUTES to present their company and attempt to convince the members of the Jury. Every pitch will be followed by THREE (3) MINUTES of Q&A conducted by the Jury.
  • The Elevator Pitch will have a maximum of 3 (three) jury members – ideally one member each from the Industry, Technology and Investor Community domains respectively.
  • The Elevator Pitch will be organized LIVE and ONLINE during YCC 2020.
  • Apart from the Jury members the Elevator Pitch will be viewed by YCC 2020 Participants.
  • From LEVEL 2 , a maximum of TEN (10) shortlisted Applicants will be invited to pitch during the YCC 2020 GRAND FINALE (INVESTOR PITCH).
LEVEL 3 – GRAND FINALE - Pitch to investors for funding
  • The GRAND FINALE (INVESTOR PITCH) will be organized LIVE and ONLINE during YCC 2020.
  • During the Grand Finale (Investor Pitch) too, the Finalists will be granted TEN (10) MINUTES to present their company and attempt to convince the members of the Jury. Every pitch will be followed by FIVE (5) minutes of Q&A conducted by the Jury.
  • If there are more queries, the Applicants may be required to attend an additional Jury session – either post the ELEVATOR PITCH or GRAND FINALE (INVESTOR PITCH) – for any specific clarifications that may arise during the entire shortlisting process.
LEVEL 2
  • All shortlisted Applicants – who present their ELEVATOR PITCH – will be provided PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATES.
  • Worthy Ideas from the IDEATION STAGE Category and which has high potential to be accepted by their potential stakeholders will be given SPECIAL JURY CERTIFICATION
  • ALL APPLICANTS who make it to LEVEL 2 Stage will be mentioned in the YCC 2020 IMPACT REPORT.
  • Chances for being considered for investment by the participating investors community.
LEVEL 3
  • All Shortlisted Applicants will be provided a SPECIAL JURY CERTIFICATE.
  • ALL APPLICANTS who make it to LEVEL 3 Stage will be featured in the YCC 2020 IMPACT REPORT.
  • High chances for being considered for investment by the participating investors community.

Note : Eventually funded Startups shall pay the Organizers, 2% of the funding received from the event.

  • The YCC Industry Awareness Quiz Contest is open to all college students enrolled in a UG or PG programme.
  • The student must be a bonafide full time student of a college or a university.
  • There is NO ENTRY FEE.
  • Any number of individuals from a college / institution can participate in the quiz.
  • The event is not open to junior college / foundation students / distance learning students or students lower than the undergraduate category.
  • Contestants have to register online at https://events.skillablers.com/registration/ycc.
  • All participants are required to provide valid photo ID of the institution they represent and provide any other proof that the organisers might require from the college in the event of the contestant making it to the semi-final.

  • The contest will be for individual college students (UG & PG)
  • 30 questions MCQ based prelim to be held for 5 days during YCC 2020
  • Each day 50 top scoring contestants will qualify for the Quarter Final
  • Each day a new set of questions will appear
SELECTION CRITERIA

The 30 questions will be mapped against time taken to answer.

The selection will be based on score + least time taken to answer.

QUARTER FINAL
  • The quarter-final is EXCLUSIVELY for the 250 qualifiers from the prelim
  • 30 questions MCQ based prelim to be held
  • 16 top scoring contestants will qualify for the Semi Final
SELECTION CRITERIA

The 30 questions will be mapped against time taken to answer.

The selection will be based on score + least time taken to answer.

SEMI FINAL
  • The 16 contestants will be divided into 4 groups of 4 each
  • There will be 4 LIVE QUIZ SEMI-FINALS hosted by a quizmaster
  • The duration will be a maximum 45 minutes to 60 minutes like the panel discussions
  • The winning contestant from each semi-final will qualify for the National Final
NATIONAL FINAL
  • The 4 contestants will battle it out in the national finale
  • There will be a LIVE QUIZ FINAL hosted by quizmaster Pickbrain
  • The winning contestant will be crowned the Industry Awareness Campion

All the contestants will get a digital certificate for having participated in the quiz. There will be separate certificates for the quarter-finalists, semi-finalists, finalists and the winner.

  • The organisers retain the right to make any changes to the event, its format, date, rules and in any matter related to this event, at any time before or during the event. The organisers reserve the right to accept or reject any application to registration and / or entry to the event proceedings.
  • By entering the event and / or participating in the Quiz, the attendees permit themselves to be photographed / videographed / recorded by electronic and other mediums for telecast / publication and other display usage of the organisers.
  • By registering for the event, you also indicate your acceptance that the organisers can send you communication from time to time regarding the event or any other initiatives by the organisers.
  • Prizes once awarded will be final and there would be no exchange/substitution of the prizes to the winners. All tax liabilities wherever applicable, will be the responsibility of the recipients of the prizes.
  • Neither the organisers nor the sponsors, or employees of the organisers and sponsors may be held liable for any warranty, costs, damage, injury, or any other claims incurred as a result of usage of the prize by the winner.
  • If the specified prize becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, the organisers may substitute the prize at their discretion.
